Sunny Singh plays a homosexual character in his latest project Amar Prem Ki Prem Kahani, also starring Aditya Seal. In an exclusive interview with Zoom, the Adipurush actor spoke about his experience working with Seal, challenges playing a gay character and more. If Shakti Samanta were to see your Amar Prem what would he say? Ha different era, different movie.

Rajesh Khanna sir was there, Sharmila m’aam was there and it's about it's a different concept. Our film is very different because those were different characters altogether. In our film, Amar and Prem come into a relationship and it's just that they are in love and it's a love story which I don't think I have ever seen.

It's like two boys who fall in love and it's about a family getting into it and whatever problems arise in their relationships through the perspective of two boys. Did you have any apprehensions about playing a gay character? Not at all. I am very excited about that film and because this is again, as you have just mentioned, an uncommon subject and that is what we wait for as actors.

If we get a different character, a different challenge then I am lucky, I feel that whatever work I have done till now whatever Wild Wild Punjab, Ujda Chaman, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and even Adipurush...

I have been very lucky. So I had no anxiety, no fear, nothing like how will I do it, what will happen, etc. Because when you are an actor, you do workshops, you do theatre, there is a preparation.

How c.
