Suni Lee is opening up on over the summer about the 2024 U.S. women’s gymnastics team.
In a new interview with , Lee took the high road while expressing how Skinner’s words affected her and her teammates. “We have a lot of love for her, but it’s frustrating to see her put us down because she knows, basically, about every single thing that we’ve all been through,” she said. Over the summer, Skinner spoke out about the newly minted team ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics and implied that the members weren’t as talented as previous gymnasts representing the U.
S. “Besides Simone (Biles), I feel like the talent and the depth just isn’t like what it used to be,” she said in a video . “I mean, obviously a lot of girls don’t work as hard.
