The Summit Historical Society will host its 11th Annual Old-Fashioned Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 16, according to a news release. The event, which brings together local artistry, holiday cheer and festive shopping, is scheduled for 9 a.
m. to 4 p.m.
at the Summit High School located at 16201 Colorado Highway 9, the news release states. Local artists will showcase a variety of handmade goods, including stained glass, wood art, food gifts, holiday decor, photography, jewelry, pottery, soaps, clothing and more. In addition to vendors, Santa Claus will be stopping by the event from 11 a.
m. to 1 p.m.
and the Nutcracker’s Sugar Plum Fairy and Clara will be visiting from 10 a.m. to 4 p.
m., according to the historical society. For early risers, there will be an exclusive early-bird shopping opportunity from 9-10 a.
m. Only 50 tickets, costing $10 a piece, are available for the early-bird shopping opportunity, which grants access to the event before it opens to the general public. For those unable to attend in person, an online auction will take place from Nov.
