Web Admin 5 Dariya News Bilaspur , 14 Jul 2024 Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today laid the foundation stone of a new tourism complex at Auhar in Bilaspur district to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 33.75 crores.
This complex will feature modern facilities including a hotel block, a food court and a recreational zone. The project is expected to be completed within two years. The Chief Minister directed the tourism department to ensure the quality of construction work.
He said the hotel block would have a reception-cum-waiting area, a restaurant with a seating capacity for 60 people, a conference room for 30 people, a Dham hall for 400 people, a banquet hall for 300 people, rest rooms, kitchen and toilets. The hotel would also offer 40 guest rooms and the food court would accommodate 214 people and feature eight stalls, a pickup area, common toilets for males and females, kid's play area and a green area. The recreational zone will boast a swimming pool, a gym and spa, a pantry, a store, back office, and toilet facilities on the ground floor.
The first floor will include an indoor games room for pool, a lobby area, four massage rooms, and additional toilet facilities. Additionally, the complex will feature a proposed sewage treatment plant (STP) with a capacity of 50 KLD, including green grassing, royal palm trees, and a sprinkler system. The Chief Minister said that the new complex will epitomize luxury and cater to tourists with its state-of-the-art facilities.
He directed the integration of the tourist complex with water sports activities at Gobind Sagar Lake, including speed boats and sailing boats to enhance the visitor's experience and attract more tourists to the area. "The second phase of the complex will be constructed on the opposite side of the road, with both blocks interconnected. This phase will feature an amusement park for children, a food court and other essential amenities and the entire project will cost of Rs 150 crore", said the Chief Minister.
Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the state government was committed to improve the infrastructure and providing world-class facilities for tourists so that they did not face any inconvenience during their stay. He emphasized that tourism was a crucial sector for strengthening the state's economy and offers significant employment and self-employment opportunities for the youth of the State. The government was making all-out endeavours to make Himachal Pradesh the top tourism destination, leaving no stone unturned in its efforts.
Later, while talking to the media, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude to the people of Himachal Pradesh for reposing faith in the policies and programmes of the Congress government during Assembly bypolls and increasing the number of Congress seats in the Assembly to 40 once again. He accused the BJP of conspiring to topple the elected government, with Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur repeatedly claiming the formation of two governments at Centre and State which will never materialize. He said that the people have rejected "Operation Lotus" and the politics of horse-trading by sending six MLAs home, delivering a strong message against BJP's conspiracy.
He asked the Leader of the Opposition and other BJP leaders to learn the lesson from this mandate and adopt a constructive role in the Opposition. He also called on the BJP leaders to advocate for Himachal Pradesh's interests with the union government. Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that development work had been hindered due to the model code of conduct, but assured that the Congress government would resume making decisions for the state's benefit now that it has concluded.
He also listened to the public grievances on the occasion.Lamberdar Jan Kalyan Sangh presented a cheque of Rs. 31,000 to the Chief Minister towards CM Relief Fund.

75 करोड़ रुपये के पर्यटन परिसर की आधारशिला रखी पर्यटन परिसर को जलक्रीड़ा गतिविधियों के साथ एकीकृत करने के निर्देश दिए बिलासपुर मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू ने आज जिला बिलासपुर के औहर में एक नए पर्यटक परिसर की आधारशिला रखी। 33.75 करोड़ रुपए की लागत से निर्मित होने वाले और आधुनिक सुविधाओं से लैस इस परिसर में होटल ब्लॉक, फूड कोर्ट और मनोरंजन क्षेत्र शमिल होंगे। इस परियोजना का कार्य दो वर्ष के भीतर पूरा होने की सम्भावना है। मुख्यमंत्री ने पर्यटन विभाग को गुणवत्तापूर्ण निर्माण कार्य सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि इस परिसर के होटल में स्वागत व प्रतीक्षा क्षेत्र, 60 लोगों की क्षमता वाला रेस्टोरेंट, 30 लोगों की क्षमता वाला कांफ्रैंस कक्ष, 400 लोगों के लिए धाम हॉल, 300 लोगों की क्षमता वाला बेंक्वेट हॉल तथा आराम कक्ष, रसोई व शौचालय की सुविधाएं होंगी। होटल में 40 अतिथि कक्ष और फूड कोर्ट जिसमें 214 लोगों के भोजन की व्यवस्था के लिए 8 स्टॉल, एक पिकअप क्षेत्र, महिलाओं व पुरूषों के लिए शौचालय तथा बच्चों के खेलने का क्षेत्र सहित ग्रीन एरिया की सुविधा भी होगी। उन्होंने कहा कि मनोरंजन क्षेत्र में स्वीमिंग पूल, जिम व स्पा, पेंटरी, स्टोर, बैक ऑफिस और धरातल में शौचालय सुविधा होगी। पहली मंजिल में पूल इण्डोर खेल कक्ष, लॉबी क्षेत्र, चार मसाज कक्ष और अतिरिक्त शौचालय की सुविधा होगी। इसके अलावा, इस परिसर में 50 केएलडी क्षमता वाला मल निकासी संयंत्र भी प्रस्तावित है और परिसर में हरी घास, रॉयल पाम वृक्ष तथा स्ंिप्रकलर प्रणाली भी विकसित की जाएगी।मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आधुनिक सुविधाओं से परिपूर्ण यह नया परिसर पर्यटकों के आकर्षण का केंद्र बनेगा। उन्होंने पर्यटक परिसर को गोबिंदसागर झील में जल क्रीड़ा गतिविधियों के साथ जोड़ने के निर्देश दिए ताकि आगुंतकों का भरपूर मनोरंजन हो और इस क्षेत्र में पर्यटकों की आमद में वृद्धि हो सके। उन्होंने कहा कि परिसर का दूसरा चरण सड़क की विपरीत दिशा में बनाया जाएगा और दोनों खण्ड आपस में जुड़ें होंगे। इस चरण में बच्चों के लिए एक मनोरंजन पार्क, एक फूड कोर्ट और अन्य आवश्यक सुविधाएं होंगी। इस पूरी परियोजना पर 150 करोड़ रुपए खर्च किए जाएंगे। ठाकुर सुखविंद्र सिंह सुक्खू ने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार पर्यटकों को विश्वस्तरीय सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करवाने के लिए पर्यटन के बुनियादी ढांचें में सुधार के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है राज्य की अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूत करने के लिए पर्यटन क्षेत्र को सुदृढ़ करने की आवश्यकता है जिससे युवाओं को रोजगार और स्वरोज़गार के अवसर उपलब्ध होंगे और प्रदेश की अर्थव्यवस्था को भी बल मिलेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार हिमाचल को देश का सर्वश्रेष्ठ पर्यटन गंतव्य बनाने के लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत है और इस दिशा में हर सम्भव प्रयास जारी हैं। इसके उपरांत मुख्यमंत्री ने मीडिया को सम्बोधित करते हुए राज्य सरकार की नीतियों और योजनाओं पर फिर भरोसा जताने के लिए प्रदेश की जनता का आभार व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने विधानसभा उप-चुनावों में कांग्रेस को समर्थन देकर विधानसभा में एक बार पुनः कांग्रेस विधायकों की संख्या 40 तक पहंचाने के लिए भी लोगों का आभार जताया। उन्होंने निर्वाचित सरकार को गिराने का षड़यंत्र रचने के लिए भाजपा के प्रयासों की निंदा की। उन्होंने कहा कि नेता प्रतिपक्ष जय राम ठाकुर निरंतर प्रदेश और केंद्र में दो सरकारें बनाने का दावा कर रहे थे, जो कभी भी सफल नहीं होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश के लोगों ने धनबल की राजनीति को नकार कर, भाजपा के ऑप्रेशन लोटस को पूरी विफल किया है जो भाजपा के षड़यंत्र के लिए करारा जवाब है। उन्होंने नेता प्रतिपक्ष और भाजपा के अन्य नेताओं को इस करारी हार से सबक लेने और जिम्मेदार विपक्ष के रूप में कार्य करने की सलाह दी। उन्होंने भाजपा नेताओं से केंद्र सरकार के समक्ष हिमाचल के हितों के पैरवी करने का भी आह्वान किया। ठाकुर सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने कहा कि आदर्श आचार संहिता के कारण प्रदेश में विकासात्मक कार्य प्रभावित हुए हैं, लेकिन अब कांग्रेस सरकार राज्य के हितों के लिए तेजी से कार्य करेगी और राज्य के हर वर्ग का कल्याण सुनिश्चित करेगी। उन्होंने इस अवसर पर लोगों की समस्याएं भी सुनीं। लम्बरदार जल कल्याण संघ ने मुख्यमंत्री को मुख्यमंत्री राहत कोष के लिए 31 हजार रुपये का चेक भेंट किया। नगर नियोजन एवं तकनीकी शिक्षा मंत्री राजेश धर्माणी, पूर्व विधायक बाबू राम गौतम और तिलक राज, कांग्रेस नेता विवेक कुमार और डॉ. पुष्पेंद्र वर्मा, उपायुक्त आबिद हुसैन सदिक और अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्ति भी इस अवसर पर उपस्थित थे।.
