Suits LA has almost landed with a plethora of stars set to bring the spin-off to life. Leaving New York behind, the upcoming legal drama Suits LA finds itself in the City of Angels with focus on the entertainment law firm Black Lane. Prior to the 10-episode series making its debut on Sunday, February 23, on NBC, here’s a full rundown of the Suits LA stars ready to reel fans in.
At the heart of Suits LA is former New York federal prosecutor Ted Black who “has reinvented himself, representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles”. The synopsis further adds that as “his firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career”. Actor Stephen Amell, who is behind Ted Black, is best known for portraying Oliver Green in The CW’s DC Comics drama Arrow.
Some of his other most notable parts include Hung, Vixen, Heels, Calamity Jane and the Code 8 franchise. Actor Josh McDermitt is famed for playing Eugene Porter in the unforgettable The Walking Dead. When he stars in Suits LA though, McDermitt will be playing Stuart Lane, the business partner and friend of Ted’s who is also the head of Black Lane law firm.
Stuart is a former corporate lawyer turned criminal defense attorney who has been described as “powerful yet self-centred”.
