A HUGE noughties singer joked "Stuff the Oasis reunion" as they announced a major anniversary show in Glasgow. Oasis are set to take to the stage at Murrayfield, in Edinburgh , on August 8 and 9 next year. Insiders told The Sun the warring brothers had secretly come together for a photoshoot which would be used to promote the gigs, which are a joint operation between promoters Live Nation and SJM. It was the first time Liam, 51, and Noel, 57 — whose hits included mid-1990s chart-toppers Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger — had been in a room together since the band split in 2009 .

He will then perform in Glasgow on February 14 before heading to Manchester the following night before a show in London on February 16 finishes up his time in the UK .

James has also announced extra dates with shows in Vienne, Berlin and Hamburg on February 25, 27 and 28. He will finish up the show on March 4 after performances in Oberhausen, Munich and Amsterdam.

James shared the news of the new tour with fans on social media this morning . And poking fun at the Gallagher brothers, he wrote: "Stuff the Oasis reunion..

. This is the anniversary tour I’m up for." Fans flocked to the comments of the post on X, formerly known as Twitter , and many joked back with the much-loved singer.

One person quipped: "No one will talk about Oasis now you’ve announced this". While a second teased: "Only because you couldn’t get tickets". MOVED TO TEARS THIS Morning viewers were moved to tears after James Blunt performed his song The Girl That Never Was live on the show.

The musician belted out the song, which he penned after he and wife Sofia lost their baby daughter. The song includes the lyrics: "We never should have picked a name, 'Cause now she has a face, And now no matter what we do, No one will take her place. Darling, we tried but now it's over, We had it all and then we lost, The girl that never was.

" Those watching the daytime TV show at home found it very emotional and took to Twitter to reveal how much they were crying. One person wrote: “That song you performed on #ThisMorning was fantastic and brought me to tears (in a good way).” A second said: “#ThisMorning wow James Blunt’s song have made me cry especially his latest single.

” While a third added: “Wow that song hit my heart hard! We are 16 years on from our sons stillbirth and it still hits hard at what could have been #jamesblunt .” Speaking previously about the song, James said: "It's amazing how many people can relate to the song. I'm married.
