Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara wrote a four-word response after Peter Andre furiously defended the professional dancers. In recent weeks, there have been allegations concerning some of the dancers. Graziano Di Prima was dropped from the line-up after he was accused of gross misconduct with his former partner Zara McDermott .

Giovanni Pernice was accused of bullying due to his strict style of training by Amanda Abbington. It Takes Two host Manara was criticised by her former dance partner Will Bayley. Bayley claims he sustained a serious, life-altering injury while jumping during a performance on the long-running show and blamed his then-partner Manara.

A spokesperson for her claimed Manara "has never received any complaints" regarding her training methods. Amid the recent stories from former celebrity contestants, the Mysterious Girl singer took to his social media to share his positive experiences with fans. He said that as "someone on Strictly", he should "just stick up for some of these people because I was there" for one of the series.

The singer, who participated in the 2015 series, described his professional dance partners Janette and Giovanni Pernice as "the nicest, most beautiful" people. "They're getting dragged into things like this," Peter says at one point in the furious video. "Of course, of course if someone did something bad and someone hurt somebody, I can understand that - of course that's not acceptable - but because I was there and people like Giovanni and Anton, they were always gentlemen to me.

" He added: "They were lovely to me. And not just me, the way I saw them with people. I think when Janette's name got dragged in too, I'm like, 'Come on, guys!' She's beautiful.

" He told followers that 'some people need to be cut a break' before swiftly ending the video. Peter wrote in the caption: "My thoughts on @bbcstrictly @jmanrara @aljazskorjanec @giovannipernice @mrantondubeke . Although i don’t know what happens in everybody’s training room I can only speak about what I saw and experienced.

It is however important that people speak up if they feel that something was wrong and important that they are heard. When Janette and others got dragged into it too, I couldn’t help but wonder if this is going too far before any investigation." Janette appreciated the support and rushed to the comment section to share a four-word response.

The dancer wrote: "Love you so much," with Peter replying: "Love you too." Many fans were in agreement and praised Peter for sharing his positive experiences amid the onslaught of allegations. One said: "Well said Peter, about time someone spoke out in a positive way," while another posted: "Good of you to speak up for them.

" One fan didn't agree with his message and said: "It's great that Giovanni was nice to you, or seems polite but we also need to believe women when they speak out about behaviour that makes them uncomfortable." Peter responded: "Yes agreed . And as I say, I can only speak on my experience.

Also remember, I’m sticking up for @jmanrara who was my partner. She too has been dragged into this." Follow Mirror Celebs on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads .
