BBC Breakfast's Ben Boulos and Rachel Burden were all about the buzz , following a show-stopping black-out during Chris McCausland's stint on last night's dance floor. The blind comedian threw the spotlight on his world with a pitch-black twist in his Couple's Choice routine to the John Lennon song Instant Karma, alongside pro Dianne Buswell. Chatting away on today's show, Rachel and Ben couldn't help but praise Chris for shaking up how we see what blind and partially-sighted people can do.

They had blind dancer Shaun Hayward and his trusty guide dog Kevin in the studio to talk about the changing attitude towards sight issues. Shaun was all praise for Strictly's detailed audio descriptions and explained why dancing can be a great thing for the blind people. On air, he said that people with disabilities shouldn't be sold short, saying: "I'm Shaun, who's blind.

'Oh, and he's called Shaun.'" But it wasn't just about the dance floor triumphs, as Shaun took a moment on the show to tip his hat to pro dancer Amy Dowden, who's had to retreat from the Strictly limelight due to a nasty injury. Amy, who was performing with JLS's J.
