Strictly Come Dancing professional Johannes Radebe couldn't hold back his emotions as he delved into his personal battles on today's episode of BBC's Saturday Kitchen (August 24). The beloved dancer was a guest on the show, joining host Matt Tebbutt, chefs Hasan Semay and Georgina Hayden, and wine connoisseur Olly Smith. During the show, while enjoying a glass of orange wine, Olly couldn't help but gush over Johannes, exclaiming: "I think he might be the loveliest person we've ever had on the show," before directly complimenting him: "I just think you're amazing.

" However, it was in a more intimate part of the show that Johannes revealed his vulnerabilities to host Matt, who inquired about his upcoming role in the stage production of Kinky Boots, reports Birmingham Live . As they teamed up to cook a lamb dish, Matt broached the subject: "While we get on this, let's talk about Kinky Boots," he said. "Musical theatre debut, this is two years in the making, right?".

"Thank goodness for the opportunity," Johannes responded. "My producers bought the rights to the musical, the ones I have been working on my solo tour with, and they approached me a couple of years ago." Johannes recounted his initial discussions with the producers, saying: "I told them at the beginning what I would like to do.

And they said was there a musical you would love to do and I said Kinky Boots, you know there's nothing else out there for a tall strapping lad like me that's got a passion for heels and feathers." He candidly spoke about his personal struggles during the chat, revealing in a heart wrenching moment that he had never felt confident enough to leave his house while donning make-up and heels. "As you can imagine, my life, that's what I normally do in my house when I'm by myself.

I put on my heels, I put on my make-up, I've never, ever had the confidence to really step out of my home like that," he admitted, eyes cast downwards. The conversation then progressed to how Johannes had to try out for his part and receive approval from none other than Cyndi Lauper, who created the music for the stage show, causing fans to rush to their keyboards to express their admiration for Johannes. "Johannes being his beautiful self on Saturday Kitchen.

Georgina Hayden is clearly captivated by him. He is just so divine," posted one touched viewer. Another admirer commented: "The dearest, gentlest man, the best of them.
