Strictly Come Dancing fans have criticised head judge Shirley Ballas over her decision to keep Wynne Evans in the competition. On Sunday evening, November 10, BBC Radio Wales presenter Wynne Evans and his dancing partner Katya survived a dramatic dance off against the actor and singer Shayne Ward and his dance partner Nancy Xu. For the dance off, Wynne and Katya performed their Grace Kelly by Mika, while Shayne and Nancy performed Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper.
After a stirring performance by both the couples, judges were split between their choices for the better dancing couple, while admitting there were gaps in both performances. Things did not look good for Wynne and Katya as the first two votes by Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse went to Shane and Nancy. However things turned in favour of the Welsh presenter and his partner after Anton Du Beke decided to save them.

While the judge acknowledged that both couples had made mistakes during their dance-off performances, she said that Wynne's performance was more "joyous" before choosing to save the Welsh opera singer.
Wynne and Katya will now be heading into their ninth week on the programme, which will take place in Blackpool. However, not everyone was happy with the results, with many taking to social media to voice their frustration. On X, formerly known as Twit.
