favourite has posted a cryptic message after her exit from the show. The pro was paired with Olympian on this year's series of the hit BBC dance competition, but the pair became the first to be eliminated from the series on Sunday night (September 29). The pair landed in the dance off against actress Toyah Willcox and her dance partner Neil Jones.
Tom and Nadiya danced their cha cha to Boogie Wonderland by Earth, Wind and Fire once more. They'd received a score of 20 from the judges, bringing his total to 43 after getting 23 points last week for his tango to Harry Styles' Golden. Sadly for Tom and Nadiya, the judges opted to save Toyah and Neil.
Reacting to his exit, Tom said: "I've had the best time the last few weeks and getting to work with Nadiya has been incredible. "I wish I could have gone further and done more dances. I've had the most fun and I wish we could keep going longer and longer.
We'll still go out for loads of brunches I'm sure." However, soon after the results show aired on Sunday, Nadiya told fans she was "not ready to talk about" their elimination, suggesting she was extremely upset. She posted a photo of herself with Tom in their costumes on Instagram, reports .
Nadiya wrote: "I really appreciate all the messages but I'm not ready to talk about what happened tonight just yet." She added a pray hand emoji followed by a white love heart. Famous faces and fans flocked to the comments to support her after the sad news.
