For week 7, Strictly gave us a new themed week – Icons – and served up brilliant song choices alongside some truly diabolical costumes. Tasha and Aljaž and JB and Lauren (standing in for Amy Dowden, who appeared in the Clauditorium) topped the leaderboard with brilliant Couple’s Choices that scored them both 39, while Pete and Jowita’s Queen-themed salsa saw them trailing by quite some way on 22. Who will make it through to week 8? We’ll find out on tomorrow’s Results Show.
08:18 PM GMT JB and Tasha tie at the top after Icons Week JB and Lauren and Tasha and Aljaž were both a point off a perfect score this week thanks to their excellent Couple’s Choices. At the other end, Pete and Jowita are bottom with 22, with quite a gap up to the next couples: Sam and Nikita, and Chris and Dianne, both on 29 points. Pete, Sam and Wynne are my picks – well, not picks, but you see what I mean – for this week’s dance-off.
This is a charismatic group of dancers, all with big fanbases, so it might start coming down to who did better overall.
