The BBC has started announcing the celebrity line-up and, so far, comedian Chris McCausland , who is making history as the first blind contestant; JLS singer JB Gill, who was a runner-up on The X Factor , Go Compare singer Wynne Evans ; 80s music icon Toyah Willcox ; and BBC Morning Live star Dr Punam Krishan have been officially confirmed. But rumours have also been swirling over who else could be dancing the Foxtrot or taking on the Cha Cha Cha with several big names including Hannah Waddingham and Nick Knowles tipped for the show as it enters its 20th year .

JB Gill won the festive edition in 2012, while EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick won just last year. A source told The Sun : ‘Although an EastEnders actor is on Strictly every year, this is the first time a performer on the festive special has gone directly into the competition. ‘Producers and viewers were blown away by Jamie’s dancing.

A source told The Sun : ‘Looking at the figures, it’s hard to see how the ongoing controversy over bullying could not have affected the recruitment process for this year’s Strictly. ‘At no point in the show’s history has there been such a small proportion of women. ‘It probably wasn’t the landmark number they wanted, given the show is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
‘The most serious claims of abuse and bullying have involved male pros and their treatment of female celebrity dance partners.’ The insider added: ‘It means the odds are against a woman making it to the final stages of the competition.’ Giovanni has denied the claims by Amanda Abbington , while Graziano said that he ‘regretted’ the actions that led to his departure after he was partnered with Zara McDermott.

Ahead of the announcement tomorrow, Perri teased: ‘This contestant might be prone to a backflip and this contestant loves a lasagne.’ While Jordan admitted he knew both contestants, he had no idea which one that set of clues actually belongs to. Hinting at the second star announced tomorrow, Perri shared: ‘They live next door to an average of four to nine rabbits, this contestant might already be in transit, and I’ve seen them naked.
’ Who could it possibly be? Diversity stars Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely have confirmed two more celebrities will be revealed as part of the line-up on their KissFM radio show tomorrow. ‘Tomorrow morning, we’re announcing two Strictly contestants. This is huge, and Perri decided to play with fire this morning and give three clues to each contestant,’ Jordan announced earlier today.
