The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office said a group was stranded on a 31-foot stalled boat in the Diversion Canal on Sunday. A stranded group of boaters was rescued Sunday by the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office flotilla team. In a Facebook post, the Sheriff's Office said three people were stranded on a 31-foot stalled boat in the Diversion Canal.
