A stowaway managed to board a Delta Air Lines flight from from New York City to Paris and hid from staff. The person was screened at a security check at JFK airport, but they managed to avoid the station's document checking, a TSA spokesperson told ABC News. The stowaway got on board while Thanksgiving day travel worldwide was hectic , with increased lines and high traffic expected throughout the holiday weekend.

They managed to avoid the issue of not having a seat by switching between the different lavatories during the flight. One of the passengers on board shared a video on social media that captured the scene after the plane touched down.



In the background, the intercom can be heard announcing, "We’re just waiting for the police to come on board; they may be here now. They’ve instructed us to keep everyone on the airplane while we sort out the extra passenger." According to a source from the TSA who spoke to CBS News, the woman managed to avoid the ID check part of the security process at JFK Airport by going directly through a body scanner.

The source added that her bags were screened for prohibited items before she reached.
