Parents and young children can look forward to the return of “Storytime” at all Berkeley County Library System (BCLS) locations in January 2025. Starting the week of Jan. 6 and running through April 21, families are invited to enjoy engaging sessions featuring stories, songs, dancing and fun for ages birth to 5 years old.
Older children are welcome, too. Each Storytime session is crafted by library staff to nurture early literacy, focus and communication skills, setting children on the path to becoming lifelong readers. “We are happy to provide Storytime for our children with new stories and more fun,” said Sharon Fashion, BCLS deputy director and youth services coordinator.
