Stagecoach has secured 34 nominations for the UK Bus Awards 2024. The operator has been recognised in 14 of 21 categories, including Culture Change, Recruitment and Retention, and Marketing Campaign of the Year. It has also been shortlisted for the Top National Bus Depot award.

Stagecoach's regional companies have been acknowledged for customer and community improvements, environmental initiatives, growth strategies, and marketing campaigns. In 2023, Stagecoach teams across the UK won 18 awards. Claire Miles, Stagecoach's chief executive officer, said: "These 34 nominations are a credit to our fantastic teams across the UK who work tirelessly to connect their local communities to the people and places that matter most.



" The awards ceremony is set to take place in London on Tuesday, November 26. The full list of Stagecoach's shortlisted entries includes Marketing Campaign of the Year, with Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire, Cumbria Tourism, and Avanti West Coast for the "Let’s Go Car Free" campaign. In the Culture Change category, two initiatives have been recognised, "People at the Heart Capability Policy" by Stagecoach South East, and "Improving Operations and Commercial Relations" by Stagecoach East Midlands.

Three Stagecoach engineers have been nominated for Engineer of the Year, Peter Collins from Stagecoach East, Adam Pugh from Stagecoach West, and Richard Burns from Stagecoach Merseyside and South Lancashire. Barking has been nominated for the London Bus Garage .
