Stacey Solomon has reportedly stepped away from a Channel 4 show, raising concerns among fans about her status on Loose Women. The former X Factor star, 34, has reportedly chosen not to return for a second season of Renovation Rescue, opting to focus on her BBC projects instead. The show featured Solomon assisting homeowners abandoned by their builders, helping them complete their unfinished homes.
A source told The Sun : “Stacey had a great time making Renovation Rescue but the fact she isn’t doing a second series allows her to focus on her projects with the Beeb.” Referring to her National Television Award (NTA) win for Sort Your Life Out, the insider added: "The shows have been a massive success, and the NTA win proves that the audience loves what she does." This follows fans' concerns that she had left Loose Women, as she was absent from the show's 25th-anniversary portrait.
Among those present in the snap were Christine Lampard , Judi Love, Katie Piper, Kelle Bryan, Frankie Bridge, Dame Kelly Holmes, Charlene White, Sunetra Sarker, and Olivia Attwood-Dack. A Loose Women spokesperson said: “This September, Loose Women celebrates 25 years on TV! “To mark the occasion, 18 panelists got together for a stunning Silver Jubilee photoshoot, and to share what the show means to them.” After the the photo was shared, fans noticed Solomon’s absence from the star-studded shot, leaving them to raise questions regarding her future on the show.
