Tollywood's Rebel Star Prabhas is already enjoying his stardom on a global level. Following the humongous success of the Baahubali series, his fandom sprawled overseas. The magnum opus, helmed by SS Rajamouli, broke the language barriers and the actor from the Telugu industry became a favourite of movie lovers across the country.

In the past few years, even though his movies (Saaho, Adipurush and Radhe Shyam) failed to impress a section of the audience, the flicks had good box office collections that certainly surpassed the lifetime collections of several other actors' hit movies. Prabhas made a powerful comeback with Salaar and the craze continued with Kalki 2898 AD. Now, all eyes are on his next Spirit and The Raja Saab (Telugu).

While fans have already got a glimpse of the horror romantic comedy 'The Raja Saab', everyone is eagerly waiting for Spirit, helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Following the announcements, several rumours are doing rounds regarding the cast and plot of Spirit. According to the reports, it is said that Prabhas will be seen in dual roles in Spirit, one as a cop and the other as a rogue.

As Prabhas will be seen playing a cop for the first time, it has already heightened the expectations of his fans. Meanwhile, fans are eagerly waiting to see the Rebel Star as a villain. While everything remains behind the curtains, a recent buzz in the industry suggests that Prabhas' Bujjigadu costar Trisha Krishnan will be paired opposite him.

Interestingly, the buzz suggests that instead of the cop, Trisha will be seen romancing 'the rogue' Prabhas. Moreover, the buzz suggests that Trisha might also be seen playing the role of a female villain. However, there is no official confirmation backing the claims.

A couple of days back, it was confirmed that Korean actor Dan Lee will play the main villain in Spirit. However, the reports of Prabhas playing a double role in the movie have raised the eyebrows of many with Dan Lee as the prime antagonist. Well, fans need to wait for an official confirmation regarding the cast.

Of course, moviegoers can expect surprises from Vanga as he must have major plans for Spirit. Notably, Prabhas and Trisha have worked in multiple movies apart from Bujjigadu: Made in Chennai (2008). The duo paired in Varsham (2004), Pournami (2006) and Singa Makan (2004).

Fans have loved the onscreen pairing of Prabhas and Trisha, especially in Bujjigadu. If the current buzz is anything to go by, Prabhas will again team up with Trisha and their chemistry will set the screen on fire..
