The launch celebration on Wednesday morning featured Spirit President and CEO Ted Christie , who gathered with guests and team members at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The four new travel options offer added flexibility, including no fees for changes or cancellations. This service is available to guests who choose the Go Big option, as well as Free Spirit Gold members and Free Spirit World Elite Mastercard holders. Among the airports providing priority boarding are Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Cancun (CUN), Chicago (ORD), Las Vegas (LAS), Los Angeles (LAX), New York (LGA), Newark (EWR), Philadelphia (PHL), and San Juan (SJU). Spirit has also improved the boarding experience for passengers not eligible for priority boarding by introducing a new process.

The updated system divides boarding into five groups, aiming to reduce boarding time and enhance overall operational efficiency and punctuality. These upgrades may not align with typical expectations for a low-cost carrier, but Spirit Airlines is making a bold statement by offering more than just budget-friendly seats. The airline is reimagining the travel experience for its passengers, combining exceptional value with high-quality service.
