Monday, January 20, 2025 Spain’s tourism experiences industry is thriving, outpacing global trends in tours and attractions. Insights from Arival’s Global Operator Landscape 3rd Edition , which surveyed 7,000 operators worldwide, reveal that Spanish operators reported stronger growth in 2024 and maintain a more optimistic outlook for 2025 than their counterparts in Europe and the global market. This announcement sets the stage for Arival 360 , the annual event dedicated to the experiences sector, which is making its debut in Valencia this year.
Scheduled for April 28-30 at the Valencia Conference Centre, this premier European gathering will unite tour creators, experience providers, and attraction operators to network, share insights, and expand their businesses. Previously hosted in Berlin for five consecutive years, the event’s move to Valencia highlights Spain’s prominence in the sector. “After remarkable double-digit growth for the global travel experiences sector in 2022 and 2023, growth slowed in 2024 to single digits, as the surge of post-pandemic demand receded and inflation tempered travelers’ capacity to spend,” said Douglas Quinby, CEO, and co-founder of Arival .
“But Spain has stood apart. Demand for travel to the country, to experience its rich cultural heritage and numerous attractions and experiences, represents enormous opportunity for operators and resellers.” Arival’s third edition of the Global Operator Landscape, conducted in the latter.
