Sooyoung of Girls' Generation is about to embark on an exciting new chapter in her career. On August 29, her agency, Saram Entertainment , announced that the star will release her first solo single in Japan on October 30. This marks a significant milestone, 22 years after she first debuted with the iconic K-pop group.

Her solo single, titled "Unstoppable," will feature four tracks: "Unstoppable," "C.A.L.



M," "Who Gets The Spotlight," and "Call Me." Notably, Sooyoung has taken an active role in her debut, co-writing the lyrics for three of these tracks. Meet Sooyoung Choi Soo-young, known mononymously as Sooyoung, is a South Korean singer, actress, and songwriter. She began her career in 2002 as part of the Korean-Japanese duo Route 0 in Japan. After returning to South Korea in 2004, Sooyoung joined Girls' Generation in 2007, a group that became one of South Korea's top-selling artists and a globally recognized girl group.

Beyond her work with Girls' Generation, Sooyoung has appeared in several popular TV dramas, including The Third Hospital (2012), Dating Agency: Cyrano (2013), My Spring Days (2014), Squad 38 (2016), Man in the Kitchen (2017–2018), Tell Me What You Saw (2020), and more recently, Run On (2021), So I Married the Anti-fan (2021), If You Wish Upon Me (2022), and Not Others (2023). In October 2017, Sooyoung departed from SM Entertainment but continued as a member of Girls' Generation. She signed with Echo Global Group and released her first solo single, "Winter Breath," in 2018.
