Pune: IndiGo has announced a revised launch schedule for its direct daily flights between Pune and Dubai, set to commence on November 22, following an initial plan for October 27. This route will mark IndiGo's second international flight from Pune. The new service aims to enhance IndiGo's expanding international network from Pune, providing improved connectivity to the UAE, a key destination for Indian travellers.
With this addition, IndiGo will operate a total of 383 flights weekly from Pune, covering over 25 domestic and two international destinations. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed excitement about the introduction of these non-stop flights to Dubai, highlighting the city as a vibrant commercial hub known for luxury shopping and modern architecture. He noted that IndiGo will now operate over 100 weekly direct flights to Dubai from 13 cities in India, offering more than 225 weekly flights to the UAE from 18 Indian cities.
As Pune is one of India's major IT and automobile hubs, this enhanced connectivity is expected to significantly benefit the region, fostering business collaboration, trade opportunities, and tourism between Pune and Dubai, thereby contributing to the economic growth of both areas. Flight Schedule: The daily flight from Dubai will depart at 17:40 and arrive in Pune at 22:10. The return flight from Pune will take off at 00:15, landing in Dubai at 02:15 the following day.
