This update brings exciting features that make it easier to find your lost devices and switch between them effortlessly.

Sony’s Latest Update Comes to the Rescue Find My Device: Never Lose Your Earbuds Again With the latest update, your Sony earbuds and headphones are now compatible with Google’s Find My Device network. Misplaced your earbuds at a café or left your headphones in a taxi? No worries! You can locate them using Google’s network, potentially saving you from buying a new pair. Sony mentions that this feature works “only during dedicated Classic Audio connection.



” While they didn’t dive into details, it likely means the device needs to be powered on and connected to an Android device for optimal tracking. Auto Switch: Seamless Transition Between Devices Another cool addition is the Auto Switch feature. This allows your Sony devices to take over playback from each other when you stop using one.

For instance, if you’re watching a movie on your tablet with headphones and then pick up a call on your phone, your earbuds can seamlessly take over. Currently, only five Sony wireless headphones support this feature, including the updated WH-1000XM5 and WF.
