Sonnalli Seygall , who married her long-time beau Ashesh L Sajnani on June 7, 2023, is expecting her first child. The couple is in their second trimester, with the baby due in December. Reflecting on this new chapter, the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actress shares, “The feeling is overwhelming.

No matter how much someone prepares you, this is one life milestone you must experience. There’s nothing more beautiful than this.” She reveals her husband was deeply moved during their first scan.



She recalls, “Ashesh was in tears during our first scan. He has been incredible, especially during the first trimester when my emotions are all over the place. Having a partner who’s rock solid really makes the journey even more special.

” To better prepare for the baby, Sonnalli has made some lifestyle adjustments. She says, “I have always practiced yoga, and I knew I wanted to approach this journey in a traditionally rooted way. The biggest change, however, is that I started reading the Bhagavad Gita during my first trimester -- something I had wanted to do for a long time.

I am also being kinder to myself. As an actor, I have often pushed myself to hit the gym even when I didn’t feel up to it, but now I’m listening to my body and treating it like a temple.” Ashesh and Sonnalli The couple was certain about starting a family soon after their wedding.

“Ashesh and I dated for nearly seven years before we got married, and we always knew we wanted to start a family. Marriage was the step toward that. We decided that 2024 would be the year to start trying.

We wanted to be fully prepared, both physically and emotionally, before bringing a new soul into the world. Ashesh and I went through a process of cleansing and detoxing our bodies and minds,” she shares. Ask her about pregnancy cravings, and she replies, “I am kind of embarrassed to admit it, but I’m really craving salad.

Right now, I’m so attached to the baby and plan to be a hands-on mother doing everything myself, from massaging and bathing the baby to washing the clothes. I know I’ll be super involved, but if I feel physically fit and can establish a routine, I might consider taking on work. Fortunately, I have the luxury of deciding whether to take up a project or return to work back after a few months.
