Sharing the ingenious hack, DaveHax explained on his channel: "Today, I'm going to show you how you can quickly ripen an avocado, which isn't quite soft yet." The smart foodie suggested an easy method, which involved wrapping the popular fruit in kitchen foil, setting it in an ovenproof dish, and then placing it into a preheated oven. The YouTuber, who's won over 7million subscribers, said the oven temperature should be set to "about 200 degrees Fahrenheit, that's about 90 degrees Celsius", the video showed .
