A BRADFORD car retailer is celebrating after a popular small SUV, which it stocks, won an international award for design. Ray Chapman Motors Bradford , on Canal Road, celebrated the Volvo EX30's win in the Most Revolutionary Transport category at the Wallpaper* Smart Space Awards. Judges hailed the fully electric vehicle as "a fantastic piece of design".
The Wallpaper* Smart Space Awards celebrate objects, accessories, services, and tools that combine beauty, design, innovation, and style. Duncan Chapman, at Ray Chapman Motors Bradford, said: "Efficient performance and whole-life sustainability were guiding principles for the development of the EX30, helping the model achieve the smallest carbon footprint of any Volvo car yet manufactured." The award adds to a string of more than ten major plaudits for the Volvo EX30, which has been named Car of the Year by The Sun, Carwow, and Electrifying.
