With vibrant restaurants, boutique hotels, and immersive experiences, SLO CAL continues to shine as a premier travel destination in the heart of California’s central coast. In 2025, SLO CAL unveils offerings to cater to every traveler.
Food lovers can indulge in creative dining experiences, wine enthusiasts can explore fresh tasting rooms, and visitors can enjoy enhanced accommodations. This year also commemorates the 100th anniversary of the historic Motel Inn, a cornerstone of SLO CAL’s legacy as a classic road-trip destination, even though it is no longer operational. “SLO CAL is continuing to expand its offerings in the new year, while still remaining an authentic, community-driven and coastal region,” said Cathy Cartier, Visit SLO CAL’s President & CEO.
“We’re excited to see the region continue to grow with such diverse experiences, giving both locals and visitors even more to explore and enjoy in 2025.” Visit SLO CAL is excited to announce the premiere of Episode 2 of Unpacking SLO CAL , titled “Zips & Sips,” which debuted on January 6, 2025. This episode showcases the adventurous and vibrant spirit of SLO CAL, featuring zipline adventures over vineyards, sunset wine tastings, and stunning murals.
