Seoul, August 6, 2024 - Coupang has announced that the premium skincare brand SK-II is now available on its Rocket Luxury platform. SK-II is known for its PiteraTM, a proprietary ingredient derived from yeast fermentation. The brand's flagship product, "PITERATM Essence," contains more than 90% of this ingredient and has been a consistent seller.
To mark SK-II’s entry, Coupang is holding a promotion until August 11, which includes various benefits such as lucky boxes, samples, and Cash rewards. From August 5 to September 8, customers purchasing SK-II products can receive limited quantities of lucky boxes based on their purchase amount on a first-come, first-served basis. The giveaways include: Purchases of KRW 400,000 or more: Clear Lotion (30ml) and a sheet mask.
Purchases of KRW 800,000 or more: PITERATM Essence (30ml) and SKINPOWER Advanced Cream (15g). Purchases of KRW 1.2 million or more: PITERATM Essence (30ml), Clear Lotion (30ml), SKINPOWER Advanced Cream (15g), and a sheet mask.
One freebie per Coupang ID will be shipped starting mid-September. Additionally, SK-II offers samples for purchases of selected "Best 3" items: PITERATM Essence (230ml), SKINPOWER Advanced Cream (80g), and GenOptics Ultraura Essence (50ml). Customers purchasing these items receive five samples valued at KRW 86,000, including PITERATM Essence, Clear Lotion, and a sheet mask.
Purchases of other promotional items come with two samples, PITERATM Essence and Clear Lotion. WOW members can earn 10% of their purchase amount in Coupang Cash, up to KRW 150,000 per day. Purchasers using the Coupang WOW card can earn additional Cash rewards of up to 4%.
The WOW card, an affiliate credit card offered in partnership with KB Kookmin Card, provides subscription benefits exclusively for WOW membership subscribers. WOW members can earn up to 14% Cash back, including WOW card rewards, with a maximum of KRW 40,000 per month. “We are pleased to expand our luxury skincare offerings with SK-II and will continue to introduce global premium brands to meet customer needs,” said an official from Coupang.
