Kalyan: The Special Investigation Team ( SIT ), investigating the Badalpur child abuse case, is working on the accused 's psychological profile , and will interrogate his current wife and two previous wives to get information about his sexual behaviour in order to make a watertight case against him. "The goal is to collect maximum evidence so that he can be given the maximum punishment for his crime," said a senior-level officer. The accused's mother had told TOI that her son married thrice in a two-year span.

Police officials said that his first wife left him in three days while his second wife left in 10 days. His third wife is in the fifth month of pregnancy. During the probe, the accused blamed his ex-wives and their behaviour for the failure of his marriages.



He said that his first wife, who was also a relative, was not mentally fit. The team on Saturday also visited the accused's house, and seized some documents related to the case. The SIT, through his mobile phone, is trying to find his location on the day of the incident.

CCTV footage from the main school's gate, that records the entry and exit of all staffers, has also been collected. Meanwhile, on Saturday, the SIT team questioned all the staff of the nursery division for almost three hours. As per the SIT probe, the accused sexually attacked the first victim on Aug 12, and the second child on Aug 13, the day the first victim's family came to the school with a complaint.

The police suspect that the complaint ensured that the accused did not carry out further attacks. The SIT has also found negligence on the part of the school because the accused was reportedly carrying a stick in his hand and was the only male staffer among 16 employees in the nursery section..
