Janelle Brown wants Meri Brown to look out for that knife in the kidneys. During the Nov. 10 episode of Sister Wives , two of Kody Brown ’s former spouses met up to discuss the financial drama playing out in the Brown family surrounding the deadline of paying off the much-debated Coyote Pass property.

And after Janelle’s conversation with her ex went nowhere, the mother of six expressed concern for her and Meri’s financial futures due to the amount of assets are currently tied up in the property. But while Janelle sees a threat looming, her former sister wife doesn’t think that is necessarily the case. “I don't think that there's really any need for protection,” Meri told Janelle.

“Don't you think that we have each other's backs as far as that goes?” But Janelle disagreed, saying, “No, I really don't.” In her confessional interview, Meri continued to assert that Kody and his only remaining wife Robyn Brown wouldn’t screw them over financially despite their respective 2022 breakups with the former polygamist. “Would Kody and Robyn really go into this thinking maybe we should get all of the property?” Meri pondered.

“I don't think that they're going to screw us over.” But Janelle isn’t convinced, saying in her own confessional, “I don't necessarily believe that.” In fact, after the “very uncomfortable” conversation with Meri, Janelle sees her unease shifting even beyond Kody and Robyn.

“I still don't know if I can trust Meri,” she adm.
