The sister of murdered mum Nadine Lott has paid an emotional tribute to her as she plans a charity event to honour her memory. Phoebe Lott is organising a fashion show in Nadine’s home town to raise funds for The Nadine Lott Trust and victim support group Advic. Nadine sustained catastrophic injuries in a savage attack by her ex partner Daniel Murtagh at her home in Arklow, Co Wicklow, in December 2019.

Murtagh, a trained boxer, was jailed for life in October 2021 after a jury unanimously found him guilty of Nadine’s murder. Phoebe Lott, who idolised her older sibling, told the Irish Sunday Mirror: “Nadine was the kind of sister everyone dreams of having – fun-loving, supportive, and always up for an adventure. Whether it was planning spontaneous road trips, organising movie nights, or just bringing laughter into the simplest moments, Nadine knew how to make life exciting which made many happy childhood memories for me.
