Sunishma Singh was crowned Miss Continental Oceania 2024 at the Miss Face of Beauty International Pageant in Taiwan on Thursday. The 28-year-old sustainability advocate and entrepreneur said she was grateful for the opportunity to represent not just Fiji, but the entire Oceania region. “This title is a platform for me to continue advocating for climate resilience, sustainable tourism, and gender empowerment on a global scale,” Ms Singh said.

“It is a responsibility I do not take lightly, and I look forward to using this recognition to bring more attention to important causes both within Fiji and the broader Pacific community. “I believe my academic background, entrepreneurial journey, and work in sustainable tourism played a role in securing this opportunity. “I have always believed in using every platform I am given to elevate the causes I care about, and this pageant provided the perfect stage to showcase both Fiji’s beauty and my passion for sustainability.

“There was not a moment that I did not miss home and the comforts of a ‘home-cooked meal’. Competing in Taiwan, I was surrounded by incredible women from across the world, each of them brought unique perspectives and strengths.
