The beloved Mid-Autumn Festival at Gardens By The Bay in Singapore is back and more enchanting than ever. From September 4 to 22, 2024, the festival promises a magical journey through cherished childhood memories, iconic symbols, and traditional folk games.

This year’s theme, ‘Celebrations,’ showcases nine elaborate and colorful lantern displays that capture Singapore’s rich heritage. The exhibits include Celebrations, The Shophouse, Bubbles Bliss, Joyful Childhood Memories: Folk Games from Korea, Vertical Mid-Autumn, Dragon Playground, Colonnade of Lights, Wishes Beneath the Moonlight, and Colourful Blossoms. The lantern displays will light up the gardens daily from 6 pm to 10 pm.

A highlight of the festival is a unique lantern designed by local artist Lee Kow Fong, also known as Ah Guo. This special creation will drift across Dragonfly Lake, marking his first collaboration with the festival. The event will also feature cultural performances, interactive workshops, carnival games, food stalls, and free lanterns for all visitors.

Supertree Grove, a favorite exhibit at Gardens By The Bay, will be adorned with a massive 44-meter-wide Flower Carpet, crafted from over 75,000 chrysanthemums. This stunning display features the Dragon Playground design alongside the national flower, Papilionanthe Miss Joaquim. Other exciting activities include the Garden Rhapsody – Tales of the Moon light and music show at Supertree Grove, a Lantern Walk with complimentary lanterns, and creative sessions such as parent-child lantern crafting and Chinese tea art appreciation.

Enjoy traditional guzheng performances and vibrant shows by yIN Harmony, Reverberance, ZingO, and more.
