Listen to Story Actor Shweta Tiwari once again spoke about the rumours of her daughter, Palak Tiwari's relationship with Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of actor Saif Ali Khan. In her latest interview, the popular TV star mentioned that her daughter is strong and is unperturbed by these rumours. However, she asserted that she didn't know how long Palak could endure these rumours.
Shweta spoke to Galatta Plus and complained about reports linking Palak to several boys in the industry. She said her daughter understands the workings of the industry, but these rumours are still concerning. She said, "Palak is strong right now, but tomorrow, some comment or article might just hit her confidence.
She is still a kid. At times things are so brutal, like she has an affair with every second boy!" The actor, who rose to fame with her performance in Star Plus' show 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay', added that Palak makes fun of her relationship rumours, but she is also sensitive to them. "Even I don’t know how long she will tolerate all this.
Even she is surprised about her dating rumours. She makes fun of it, but at times when things may bother her," she said. Shweta also went on to talk about body-shaming that Palak would struggle with initially.
She said her daughter was subjected to a lot of criticism for her appearance. The actor said Palak has understood that she has worked hard to achieve a certain shape and there are many others who still aspire to get the same. "It doesn’t even bother her.
She used to feel it initially, but now she knows there are a lot of people who look like her and want to look like her. She knows that she has achieved this with a lot of hard work," she said. Palak and Ibrahim's dating rumours began in 2022 when the two were spotted outside a restaurant , and the former was trying to hide her face from the paps .
Later, in an interview with Siddharth Kanan, she clarified that she was, in fact, hiding from her mother because she had lied about her whereabouts to her. Palak also said there were many other friends with her at the restaurant, and the photos only singled her out with Ibrahim to establish a narrative. The duo continues to get spotted at various parties organised by their common friends.
Meanwhile, Palak debuted in Bollywood with 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' starring Salman Khan. She is currently working on her second film, titled 'The Virgin Tree', alongside Sunny Singh and Mouni Roy..
