Only two performances are remaining in the 2024 Summer Concerts in the Park series presented by the Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department and Play, Inc . This Sunday, ShopRock will take the stage at Acquistapace Park, at the corner of Western Avenue and Sonya Lane near Jimenez Elementary School, from 1 p.m.
to 3 p.m. The Recreation and Parks Department said ShopRock is a high-energy classic rock and blues band that provides an excellent, can't-help-but-dance experience for attendees.
The group brings together a wealth of musical talent and experience and is known for creating a celebratory atmosphere at various events and venues. Concerts in the park are a free, family-friendly event that provides accessible entertainment for all residents. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks to enhance their outdoor music experience The Mother Corn Shuckers are scheduled to close out the summer concert series with their performance at Acquistapace Park on Aug.
