It's safe to say that it'd have to be a pretty special sweater to warrant such a hefty price tag.

And this one by Louis Vuitton is definitely special. The luxury French fashion house recently released the Trail Detail Turtleneck Pullover, which retails for a staggering £2,230. It is made from cashmere and has a corporate vibe to it.

But the stand-out feature hangs down from the bottom of the jumper. The Louis Vuitton website explains: "A contemporary trail detail drapes to the mid-calf with an elegant twist in the middle." While some find the detail intriguing, others think it looks a lot ruder than the designer intended.

And we must admit, they do have a point! On Facebook, dozens of shoppers argued the swinging piece of cashmere looks like the model has has a bit of a bathroom blunder. "It looks like she deliberately got toilet paper stuck in her pants when coming out of a public toilet," one person quipped. Another agreed, commenting: "When your scarf has gone static in the dryer and stuck to your knickers.

" A third asked: "Toilet roll got stuck in someone's undies?" Meanwhile, a fourth joked: "Imagine dealing with all that extraneous fabric when you need a wee. Straight in the loo." Now that's awkward.

.. It's not the first time a designer label has been mercilessly mocked online.

Previously, Gucci was roasted by Scottish shoppers for releasing a £1,700 tartan dress for men . People compared the luxury garments to "school uniform", which definitely isn't ideal!.
