Prayagraj : A former assistant professor at a private university in the Sangam city Smita Dikshit 's joy of joining a new workplace faded when she lost her trolley bag containing important documents while she was going to catch a train. However, the Teliarganj resident swiftly gained her composure and with the assistance of this TOI scribe contacted the police which promptly came to her aid and retrieved the bag before she boarded the train for Raipur. It all started when Dikshit was on her way to Chheoki station to catch the Navtanva-Durg Express on Friday night.

Due to the diversion of the train via Chheoki station instead of its usual halt at Prayagraj Junction, Dikshit and her parents had to travel to the station located in the Naini area. To accommodate the extra luggage, they hired an auto while driving their personal car. However, upon reaching the station around 8:30pm, they discovered that a red-coloured trolley bag, which had been placed in the rear of the auto, was missing, and the back gate of the auto was open.

Initially, Smita panicked as the suitcase contained important documents and essential items. However, she reached out to this TOI scribe who provided her with the contact information of the police station under whose jurisdiction the bag might have fallen and the CUG number of the SHO. "I then contacted the SHO Daraganj police station, Gyaneshwar Mishra, and narrated the entire incident and was assured of prompt help.

After around 10 minutes, I got a call .
