Shishu Poribohon, a children's clothing brand, has officially opened the door to its first-ever physical store at Bashundhara City Shopping Complex. This marks a significant milestone for the brand, which has already made quite a mark in the Bangladeshi parenting space with its imaginative designs and purpose-driven message. The brand draws its unique name and inspiration from Shishu, a rescued ginger tabby cat whose adventurous spirit embodies its playful and inclusive philosophy.

Shishu Poribohon envisions an imaginary fashion truck, driven by Shishu, delivering stylish and high-quality clothes to children across the country. But Shishu Poribohon is more than just a fashion brand — it stands for kindness and purpose. Shishu, the namesake of this project, was found as a week-old kitten (hence the name) on a road in Mirpur DOHS.

"We are thrilled to finally open our first physical store and share our collection with our clients in person," said Fayeka Zabeen Siddiqua, co-founder of Shishu Poribohon. "Our vision is to provide fashionable and sustainable deshi clothes for children's ever-changing wardrobe, making quality fashion accessible to every Bangladeshi home. We try to ensure longevity and comfort by providing our clients with the best quality material and craftsmanship.

" Currently, Shishu Poribohon operates through its physical store, Facebook and Instagram page, website, and pop-up exhibitions. The grand opening event was inaugurated by eminent media personality Dilar.
