Ivory hues have slowly but surely arrived on the festive wear scene and Shilpa Shetty's latest look is evidence. We've earlier witnessed the actor in a pristine white sari from Abhishek Sharma with a pearl-laden layered blouse, too. A white, cutwork sari with futuristic undertones and resin bangle stacks from Abraham and Thakore was another testament to the actor's continuing love for the humble hue.

Stepping out in her cocktail best, Shilpa Shetty opted for convenience without compromising on a bit of drama. The Tanieya Khanuja pre-draped sari combined the brand's signature motifs: mesh, net, sequins, and an a-line boned bodice for a blouse with bigger hand-embroidered chunks of sequins. The sari also had a tiered-like feel , with layers of delicate thread crisscrossing over the drapes in a delectable pattern.

The net pallu featured scalloped hems and floral embroidery, while the sari's finishing was done with frayed feather-like details seamlessly falling off the neat drapes. Ivories and hues of white entail a different kind of attention quotient. One that compels the beholder to stop and admire the layers of detailing behind an ensemble.

Shetty added another layer of sophisticated extra through a pearl choker with emeralds and diamonds from Amaris jewels. It's evening wear at its best, ideal for someone hoping to make a statement, albeit in an elegantly fuss-free, self-assured way.
