SHE loves showing off her dance moves on social media. But Sarah Lou Merrygold's recent video saw her hit headlines for different reasons, as people spotted a huge likeness between her and another celebrity. The mum-of-three danced to Megan Thee Stallion's Mamushi as Aston could be seen in the background with their newborn daughter Riley.
"Hold baby girl for a second babe," the dance teacher captioned the TikTok video. She sported a Friends T-shirt and a pair of baggy jeans for the video, with her bob casual and wavy. And while there were those complimenting dance teacher Sarah's moves in the video, others were more intrigued by her similarity to another famous face - namely Kate Ferdinand.
"I swear this is Kate Ferdinand’s twin," one wrote. "I thought it was her too!" another added. "You look the double of Kate Ferdinand," a third agreed.
"Yesssss!" someone else admitted. "Yeah she look like Kate Ferdinand," another said. As someone else wrote: "That’s exactly what I thought!" Despite people being quick to point out the likeness between the pair, there's quite an age difference.
While Sarah is 40, Kate - the wife of former footballer Rio Ferdinand - is just 33. Kate has two children with Rio, and is also stepmother to his two children with his late wife Rebecca. The comments section on Sarah's video was also filled with people desperate to know where she got her outfit from.
"Where are the fabulous jeans from?" one wrote. "Where can I get those jeans pls?" another asked. ASTOH and Sarah met back in 2012, when she worked as a dancer for JLS.
They got engaged on Christmas Day in 2017, and welcomed son Grayson Jax into the world in 2018. Sarah later gave birth to their second son Macaulay Shay in June 2020. The pair announced they'd tie the knot in an Instagram post in 2022.
And they welcomed their first daughter when Sarah gave birth to Riley in March. As a third said: "Love your T-shirt!" And someone else said: "Where is your Friends T-shirt from please!!!!
