Ms Bryant , 43, pulled children out of harm's way as the out-of-control tanker ploughed through the playground of Macedon Ranges Montessori Preschool in Riddells Creek, north-west of Melbourne, on Monday afternoon. It can be revealed the speech pathologist had been with a special needs child at the time, spiriting the child away in the seconds before she lost her life.

On Tuesday, Ms Bryant's family issued a statement through Victoria Police expressing their sorrow over the untimely death of the cherished mother and wife. 'We are devastated by the loss of our beautiful Eleanor,' the statement read. 'She was the light of our lives: a cherished mother, wife, daughter and sister, and beloved by all her family and enormous network of friends.
