Sharon Corr and her sister Caroline have shared a selfie with international pop superstar Kylie Minogue at the Singapore Grand Prix. The Corrs performed at the Grand Prix on Sunday, with Sharon , Caroline, Andrea and Jim posing alongside the winner Lando Norris, who beat Max Verstappen by a massive 20 seconds to take home the crown. As well as this, Sharon and Caroline bumped into pop star Kylie Minogue , who was also performing at the festival as well as rock legend Lenny Kravitz — with the trio smiling for a selfie.
A post shared by John Giddings (@johngiddings01) Sharing the selfie to her Instagram story, Sharon simply wrote ‘about last night,’ with her siblings also thanking the Singapore Grand Prix for having them. ‘Surreal experience at the Singapore Grand Prix!’ Andrea wrote. ‘Thank you all for the love for our music and congratulations @LandoNorris.
’ The sibling band have enjoyed continued success since forming in the 90s, with Sharon speaking about the loss of her older brother Gerard shortly after she was born, whom she and the rest of the family believed would have been a great asset to the band. Gerard was tragically killed in a road traffic accident when he was just four years old, with Sharon saying to Miriam O’Callaghan that he would’ve been the perfect bass player for the band. ‘Apparently he was extremely talented and he loved music,’ Sharon said.
‘We thought he would have been the bass player because we were missing a bass player.’ .
