Since taking the helm of one of India’s largest airlines in 2022, Elbers used this milestone to reflect on both his professional successes and personal experiences in the country he now calls home. Elbers highlighted his airline’s remarkable growth, emphasizing its daily operations of over 2,000 flights, covering more than 430 domestic and 100 international routes. “Our story has just started,” he wrote, expressing his pride in being a part of the journey and its critical role in connecting the nation. “India’s essence is captured in its beautiful diversity,” Elbers wrote, noting how his travels from Thiruvananthapuram in the south to Leh in the north have enriched his experience.
