A tourist was tragically killed by a shark in the Red Sea off the coast of a luxury resort in Egypt - with the predator later being captured and found to have the victim's remains inside. Vladimir Popov, 23, from Russia , was swimming when he was savagely attacked by a 10-foot tiger shark near Hurghada. The gruesome scene turned the water red as horrified onlookers witnessed Vladimir being eaten alive.

Yury Popov, Vladimir's father, spoke to news network 112 about the horrific incident: "My son was attacked by a shark, it all happened in seconds".
