SHAMED ex Kasabian star Tom Meighan has been forced to pull the plug on several gigs after being rushed to hospital while "spitting blood". Tom, who was sacked from the band for attacking his then-fiancée during a drunken row, first cancelled a show in Newcastle "on doctors' orders". He had been due to perform his one-man gig at the city's Riverside Newcastle venue on Tuesday but had to cancel at the last minute.

He now has " a large wound on his neck" following surgery and also pulled out of a concert in Leeds. Tom's show on Friday in Manchester is also hanging in the balance after a larges abscess was removed from his throat.
