Shah Rukh Khan, India’s beloved King of Bollywood, has maintained his superstar status for nearly three decades. Despite his immense fame, actor-director Tigmanshu Dhulia, who has collaborated with Khan on films like Dil Se and Zero, praises his unwavering humility. Recalling their time together on Dil Se, Dhulia revealed a surprising detail, during the shoot, Khan would often sleep on the floor of the bus rather than in a luxurious vanity van.

This simple act speaks volumes about the actor's down-to-earth nature and dedication to his craft. Tigmanshu Dhulia talks about Shah Rukh Khan's kindness and thoughtful behavior while filming dil se and zero. pic.

I can’t even tell you. I could see even during Dil Se and he was already a big star at that time.” He shared that during the film’s shoot in Ladakh, there would be no vanity vans and Shah Rukh would nap on the floor of the bus during his lunch hour but never asked anyone to not enter the bus during that time.

Tigmanshu was a dialogue writer on the film. “When we were shooting in Ladakh..

. with Mani sir, you would just travel on the roads and he would decide this is where he wanted to shoot. So during lunch, there were no vanity vans or anything so the bus we were traveling in, the passage where people walk, Shah Rukh would take a nap there during lunch for 30 minutes.

But we (crew members) had things in the bus so we would keep going in and out. Sometimes, we would go over him to get to a jacket or something but he never objected to anything. He never said no one can enter the bus when I am sleeping.

He could have done that. He is the star of the film. If he wants to sleep for 30 minutes, he should get that time undisturbed but that never happened,” he recalled He (SRK) came and changed Bollywood.

Today the condition is same, OTT platforms are rising and are no more just 1 movie and SRK will repeat HISTORY. - Tigmanshu Dhulia pic.twitter.
