Sexism in sports is not a new thing. Fitness, a good physique, and maintaining themselves are extremely important for an athlete. Unfortunately, for this reason and many others, they often end up facing sexism, while their achievements get sidelined.

Previously, javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra faced sexism during an interview with RJ Malishka. During an interview with the Tokyo Olympics gold medallist, RJ Malishka displayed inappropriate behaviour. Now, Paris Olympics bronze medallist Manu Bhaker is getting the same treatment.

In a recent interview, an anchor asks Manu about the conversation between her mother and Neeraj Chopra. In another interview, journalist Rohan Dua casually tells Manu that she is one of the most attractive and beautiful females in India’s Olympic history. While the videos are definitely cringeworthy, it is sad to see very little to no mention of their achievements in the videos.
