Two K-pop acts from HYBE's sub-labels, Source Music's Seventeen and Belift Lab's ILLIT, announced their return with a new album in October. Boy group Seventeen will be releasing its 12th mini-album, "SPILL THE FEELS," on Oct.

14, about five months after its best album, "17 IS RIGHT HERE." The new album will be the group's first release after Jeonghan, one of its members, leaves for mandatory service on Thursday as a social service personnel. He will be the first Seventeen member to begin service.



"Through their new album, which has a message of 'pour out your emotions,' they plan to convey a story that everyone can relate to," the group's agency said in the release. The group is also set to kick off the "SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR" at Goyang Stadium in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on Oct. 12 and 13, before making stops in the United States, Japan and other Asian countries.

The new album comes about seven months after its debut album "SUPER REAL ME," which instantly shot the group to stardom, topping various global music charts with the addictive title song “ Magnetic .” "If their debut work 'SUPER REAL ME' captured 'my true self', the new album 'I'LL LIKE YOU' is the second part of the story about 'myself' living in the moment," the group's agency said in a statement. "Through it, ILLIT is expected to show its charm of honestly pursuing its own answers despite contemplating through meeting 'you' they want to become close with.

" SM Entertainment announced Monday that its girl group aespa wil be returning with its fifth mini-album "Whiplash" on Oct. 21, about five months after the group released its first full-length album "Armageddon" this May. The upcoming album will include a total of six tracks spanning diverse genres, including the title track.

"(The album) is sufficient(ly offers the full scope of) aespa's unique musical color," the agency said. The group set the record with "Supernova," the title track of its latest album, topping the weekly chart of Korea's largest music streaming service, Melon, for 15 consecutive weeks. This is the longest in the platform's 20-year history.

FNC Entertainment’s rock band, CNBLUE , is making a comeback with the 10th mini-album “X,” on Oct. 14. The new album comes about three years after its ninth mini-album “WANTED” in 2021.

"The album title 'X' carries multiple meanings, including their 10th mini-album, 10-fold times growth and limitless future," the agency said in the release. "It also connects with their recent solo concert 'VOYAGE into X' held on Sept. 21 and 22 at the Olympic Park Handball Stadium in Seoul.

" About three weeks ahead of the release, the group showcased four songs from its upcoming album at the concerts, giving a glimpse of its new works. The group is set to hold a comeback event on the day of the release. CNBLUE, left, and Jay Park will release new albums in October.

Jay Park announced he will be releasing his first full-length album "THE ONE YOU WANTED" in over five years since the 2019 album "The Road Less Traveled," hinting at featuring stellar artists like Ty Dolla $ign on the new work. The sixth full-length album, set to drop on Oct.

8, will have R&B genre songs Park has worked on since his last R&B album, "EVERYTHING YOU WANTED," in 2016. "I think this album will be meaningful not only for me but also for (my agency) MORE VISION and the Korean music market. I worked hard to create an album with artistic value rather than simply following trends," Park said.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie will release a solo work in partnership with Columbia Records, which houses pop stars like Beyonce, Adele and Harry Styles. This will be her first solo work since the single "You & Me," which was released in October last year..
