Monday, October 7, 2024 Vietnam ’s Pho Festival in Seoul sparks tourism growth, offering a vibrant showcase of the country’s rich culinary traditions and cultural heritage to thousands of visitors. The “Vietnamese Pho Festival 2024” wrapped up its two-day celebration in Seoul on Sunday, drawing in a large crowd of enthusiastic attendees eager to immerse themselves in the culinary and cultural richness of Vietnam. With the theme “Seoul Embraces Pho,” the event aimed to foster cultural exchange and strengthen diplomatic ties between South Korea and Vietnam.

The festival featured a variety of activities showcasing Vietnam’s iconic dish, pho, as well as other traditional Vietnamese cuisine. Organized by Saigon Tourist Group in collaboration with key Vietnamese institutions, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnamese Embassy in Seoul, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Promotion Agency, the event was a significant step in deepening cultural relations between the two nations. Visitors had the chance to enjoy authentic Vietnamese pho along with a diverse range of traditional dishes, gaining a deeper appreciation for both the flavors and the cultural history of the cuisine.
